About Me

Hello! I’m Sameer, a full-stack software developer currently working at Third Financial, where I contribute to building secure, scalable financial software solutions. My passion for Computer Science and software development started early; I loved experimenting with code and creating small applications to solve real problems. That curiosity grew into a career where I now deliver production-ready software across frontend, backend, and data systems.

Alongside my role, I've freelanced as a full-stack developer, gaining hands-on experience with diverse projects and clients. I hold a BSc in Computer Science and previously completed an apprenticeship at a boutique consultancy, where I learned the importance of professional software engineering practices, infrastructure, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.

Pollr is a simple and modern way to create polls and collect data of your interest. I created this as personal project my free time to solve an issue I was facing in finding a simple anonymous poll taking app.

Financr provides a platform to manage all the finances from a single place. I developed this app for personal use and I'm still using it to this day. I've slowed down feature development on this project as it's fulfiling my needs right now, however, I'm always looking to add more features as they are needed.

I developed a trello plugin which uses the Trello API and connects with the board. The plugin is intended to update movies/TV show information once it is entered by the user. The plugin uses multiple sources and APIs to gather useful information about a movie or TV show.
